Business Mentorship Institute Of Saskatchewan Inc. (BMI)

The Community's Role

Are there any business mentorship programs operating nearby?
Contact your local business or economic development agency or view our Initiatives page to find the program closest to you.

Who is running these programs? BMI or someone else?
Any community, economic, or business development organization can host a BMI business mentorship program. Host organizations appoint a coordinator who administrates the program in partnership with BMI. BMI works through your local coordinator to support the success of your mentorship experience every step of the way.

This sounds like a government project; do I have to fill out a lot of paperwork?
Paperwork and other administration details are mostly handled by your program coordinator. This gives you more time to spend working with your mentor, and more energy to dedicate to your business.

Why does BMI have to be involved if someone is handling the program locally?
BMI serves as a resource base and network hub, supplying and connecting all business mentorship programs in the provinceSaskatchewan. BMI also determines program guidelines, and establishes standards for the basic structure and content of the training you receive locally.
