Business Mentorship Institute Of Saskatchewan Inc. (BMI)

My Mentor

What expertise would my Mentor have?
All BMI mentors have succeeded in some way and have at least five years of relevant business experience.

Do I get to choose my own Mentor?
BMI will use their resources to find potential mentor candidates for each protégé; it is then ultimately up to each participant to agree to work with the candidates BMI has provided.

How involved will my Mentor become?
Your mentor's degree of involvement depends on the agreement decided upon once you have become matched. BMI strongly recommends meeting for two hours face-to-face, but ultimately it is up to the pair to decide what works best for their relationship.

Would my Mentor ever be competing with me?
BMI works to ensure that matched pairs are not direct competitors. For peace of mind, BMI requires that all parties sign a confidentiality and non-competition agreement.

What is BMI's role in this?
Through BMI you will not only have access to training, but also to BMI staff that will provide guidance and help when needed and we will work with them to ensure the relationship works within the stated guidelines and boundaries of a mentoring relationship or work our best to rematch.
