Any individual who is in business can join.
How much does this cost?
You must first become a member of BMI. Our membership fee is $25.00 per year. Fill out the appropriate online application form:

How do I become a Protégé?
Joining is easy. Fill out our online Protégé Application Form and a BMI staff member will be in contact to discuss your options.
How long will this relationship last?
The amount of time you spend working with your protégé is up to the two of you. To get the most out of the program matches last at least six months and can go as long as a year and a half. This is not a lifetime commitment. When you have learned as much as you can from your mentor, it is time for the relationship to change.
How many hours a month will I spend with my mentor?
BMI strongly recommends at least two hours of face to face meeting every month. If, as a pair you decide to email, SKYPE, or video conference that is fine. Ultimately whatever works for your dynamic works for BMI.
